As we routinely perform over 1500 assays in our laboratories, you can be assured that we can perform any assay to development specificiations in a consistent and reliable manner. In addition, since Focus Technologies has an FDA approved manufacturing facility, we are aware of the rigors of maintaining FDA standards in diagnostic testing.
Project Management
Our project managers have many years of experience in handling the demanding requirements of specimens logistics, site support, and data management that make clinical trials a success. Focus project managers are often used by our clinical trial partners to help make their trial more efficient and cost effective. We also offer a unique Information Technology infrastructure that captures all aspects of clinical trial data in in a single database that can be widely interfaced and accessed via the worldwide web.
Logistics/Specimen Retrieval
Focus Bio-Inova can provide clinical trial sites with customized kit collection materials to guarantee that the clinical trial site has everything it needs at the appropriate time. Our experienced project managers can arrange to support the retrieval of specimens from both domestic and international clinical trial sites. Focus Bio-Inova Central Laboratory can independently, or in coordination with many international CRO's, control specimen shipment and tracking to ensure the integrity of assay results.
Specimen Storage Services
Focus Bio-Inova currently stores thousands of specimens for ongoing clinical trials. We have state-of-the-art inventory management and temperature monitoring systems that guarantee specimen security and integrity.
Information Technology
Focus Bio-Inova has proprietary software that keeps track of all aspects of the clinical trial. The open-architecture of this software allows us to customize our database to meet the individual needs of each client and clinical trial. We have complete flexibility in working with other computer systems as demonstrated by the successful interface of our database with numerous Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
